ABOUT NC 500 CYCLING CHALLENGE
Have you ever wanted to cycle Scotland's North Coast 500 (NC 500) but found the logistical challenge of how to get to your next hotel with luggage, spares and food overwhelming?
We take care of all the planning and boring stuff so that you are left to enjoy this amazing experience. From your luggage awaiting you on arrival in your next hotel room to a following car with spare wheels and your day bag with alternative clothing. We have you covered!
Our challenge is suitable for riders who are looking to push their cycling capabilities within the social aspect of a group. The route starts and finishes in Inverness. You will be cycling just over 500 miles taking in 32000 feet of climbing following the North Coast 500 route with a small group of 6-8 riders of similar ability alongside our experienced ride guide and crew whilst taking in Scotlands most stunning scenery. Post ride you will enjoy a sumptuous dinner and time to relax in some of Scotland's most beautiful and exclusive hotels. This epic adventure has mountain passes such as the Bealach na Bà which approaches 20% gradient rising from sea level at Applecross to 626 metres (2,054 ft), and is the third highest road in Scotland.

3 Day Challenge 15.08.19 - 17.08.19
Push the pace and your capabilities in this 3 day challenge where you will cover between 157 and 184 miles and an average of 10500 feet of climbing each day. Read more.
5 Day Challenge 23.08.19 - 27.08.19
The distance you will cover each day will range between approximately 67 and 134 miles with an average of 6000 feet of climbing every day. Read more.
7 Day Challenge 11.09.19 - 17.09.19
Suitable for riders who want to take in all that the NC500 Route has to offer at a more leisurely pace. The distance you will cover each day will be approximately 75 miles each day and 4600 feet of climbing. Read more.

THE ROUTE
Our journey begins from our meeting point at Inverness Castle where we will officially begin our journey heading west towards Applecross. We then track the North Coast 500 route along the beautiful Scottish coastline in a clockwise direction back towards Inverness enabling you to experience some of Scotland's stunning beaches, historic castles and marvellous mountain ranges whilst you embark on this epic adventure.
